THY Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Bolat, İngiltere’de düzenlenen Farnborough Uluslararası Havacılık Fuarı kapsamında basın mensuplarıyla bir araya geldi. Bolat, şirketin gelecekteki operasyonel hedefleri ve kültürel projelerine ilişkin konuşmasında, sanat ve kültürü dünyayla buluşturma misyonunu sürdürdüklerini ve Refik Anadol’la gerçekleştirdikleri yeni projenin 4 farklı kıtadan insanları bir araya getirerek, onların duygularını dijital sanat eserine dönüştürdüklerini belirtti.
THY’nin büyüme potansiyeliyle dünyanın ikinci büyük havayolu olma yolunda olduğunu vurgulayan Bolat, gelecek 10 yıl içinde THY’nin filosunu 810 uçağa çıkarmayı planladıklarını ifade etti. Ayrıca, Türkiye’de uçak motorlarının bakımını yapacak merkezler kurarak, ülkeye stratejik ve ekonomik katkılar sağlamayı hedeflediklerini de belirtti.
THY’nin kültür ve tarihi tanıtma misyonuna da değinen Bolat, Türkiye’nin tarihi zenginliklerini dünya genelinde tanıtmayı amaçladıklarını söyledi. Özellikle Göbeklitepe ve diğer tarihi alanların önemine dikkat çeken Bolat, yolculara bu tarihi mirası tanıtmak için çeşitli projeler geliştirdiklerini ifade etti.
THY’nin gelecek 10 yılda farklı alanlarda misyonlar üstleneceğini belirten Bolat, kültürel tanıtım ve uluslararası işbirliklerinin ön planda olacağını dile getirdi. Ayrıca, Göbeklitepe’de 12 bin yıl önce üretilen ilk ekmeği yeniden üreterek yolculara ikram edeceklerini ve Anadolu’nun tarihi ve kültürel zenginliklerini tanıtarak unutulmaz deneyimler yaşatmayı hedeflediklerini söyledi.
