GAİB tarafından yapılan açıklamaya göre, hububat ihracatı geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre %12,4 artarak 2,2 milyar dolara ulaştı.
GAİB Hububat Bakliyat Yağlı Tohumlar ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği Başkanı Celal Kadooğlu, Güneydoğu Anadolu’nun Türkiye’nin en fazla hububat ihracatı yapan bölgesi olduğunu vurgulayarak, sektörel ürün çeşitliliğinin rekabet avantajı sağladığını ifade etti.
Kadooğlu, küresel gıda fiyatlarındaki gerilemenin buğday unu ve ayçiçek yağının ihracat fiyatlarına baskı yaptığı bir dönemde, sektördeki ürün çeşitliliği sayesinde ihracat gelirlerinin arttığını belirtti. Temel gıda ürünlerinin sabit bir talebe sahip olduğunu ve fiyat düşüşlerinin sürekli olmadığını dile getiren Kadooğlu, sektörün genel olarak güçlü bir mali altyapıya sahip olduğunu söyledi.
Özellikle tatlı bisküvi, gofret ve çikolata gibi yüksek gelir getiren ürünlerde fiyat artışı yaşandığını belirten Kadooğlu, hububat sektörünün Türkiye genelindeki ihracat birim fiyatlarının %0,4 düşerken, bölgedeki birim fiyatlarda %10,9 artış yaşandığını belirterek, bu durumdan memnun olduklarını ifade etti.
Bu başarıda sektöre özgü avantajların etkili olduğunu kaydeden Kadooğlu, bölgenin ihracat potansiyelinin yüksek olduğunu ve bu trendin devam edeceğini belirtti.
