Türkiye’nin Hamsi İhracatı Arttı
Türkiye, su ürünleri sektöründe adından söz ettiren bir ülke olarak yılın ilk yarısında 20 ülkeye hamsi ihraç etti. Doğu Karadeniz İhracatçılar Birliği (DKİB) verilerine göre, Ocak-Haziran 2023 döneminde hamsi ihracatı değer bazında 5 milyon 823 bin dolar olarak gerçekleşti. Bu yılın aynı döneminde ise hamsi ihracatı yüzde 23 artarak 7 milyon 164 bin dolara çıktı. Miktar olarak bakıldığında ise 2023’ün ilk yarısında 949 ton hamsi ihraç edilirken, bu yılın aynı döneminde bu rakam yüzde 59 artışla 1505 tona ulaştı.
Hamsi ihracatında en çok talep Fransa, Belçika ve ABD’den geldi. Fransa’ya 2 milyon 417 bin dolar, Belçika’ya 1 milyon 937 bin dolar ve ABD’ye 779 bin dolarlık hamsi satışı gerçekleştirildi. Ayrıca, Hollanda, Yunanistan ve Dubai’ye de hamsi ihracatı yapıldığı belirtildi.
DKİB Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Saffet Kalyoncu, hamsinin yurt dışında işlenmiş ürün olarak da ilgi gördüğünü ve bu durumun hamsi ihracatını olumlu yönde etkilediğini söyledi. Kalyoncu, 2024-2025 avlanma sezonunda bilinçsiz avlanmanın önüne geçilmesi gerektiğini ve hamsi avcılığının sürdürülebilirliği için belirli kuralların uygulanması gerektiğini vurguladı. Hamsinin işlenmiş ürün olarak ihraç edilmesinin ihracat potansiyelini artırdığını ifade eden Kalyoncu, sektör paydaşlarının hamsi avcılığına yönelik daha sürdürülebilir bir yaklaşımın benimsenmesi gerektiğini belirtti.
