Japonya’da Haftada Dört Gün Çalışma Uygulaması Yaygınlaşmıyor
Japonya Sağlık, Çalışma ve Refah Bakanlığı verilerine göre, ülkedeki şirketlerin sadece yüzde 8’i çalışanlarına haftada üç veya daha fazla gün izin veriyor. Bu durumun yanı sıra, çalışanlar da haftada dört gün çalışma uygulamasına isteksiz.
Panasonuk şirketi örneğinde görüldüğü gibi, iki yıldır haftada dört gün çalışma uygulamasına geçilmesine rağmen, sadece 150 çalışanın bu programı tercih ettiği belirtiliyor. Devlet destekli bir düşünce kuruluşu tarafından yapılan araştırmaya göre ise, Japonya’nın 2040 yılına kadar yaklaşık bir milyon işçi açığıyla karşı karşıya kalması bekleniyor.
Bu durum, ülkedeki iş gücü piyasasının geleceği açısından endişe verici olabilir. Japon şirketlerinin ve çalışanların haftada dört gün çalışma uygulamasına daha fazla ilgi göstermesi, gelecekteki iş gücü ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak adına önemli bir adım olabilir.
