Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı, yüksek gelir elde eden, lüks tüketimde bulunan ancak buna uygun vergi ödemeyen mükellefleri yakından izliyor. Turizm bölgelerindeki lüks harcamaları takip eden Gelir İdaresi, özel yat ve tekne satışlarını inceleme altına aldı.
Başkanlık, 2021-2023 yıllarındaki satışları çapraz kontrol yöntemiyle analiz etti ve yüksek miktarda vergi kaybı tespit etti. Riskli mükelleflere odaklanan Başkanlık, bu dönemde 45 binden fazla özel tekne ve yat satışı yapıldığını belirledi. Yapılan analizler sonucunda 15 bin gerçek kişi ve 1527 şirketin beyan edilen satış bedeliyle gerçek satış fiyatı arasında ciddi farklar olduğu ortaya çıktı. Bu mükelleflerin para transferleri incelenirken, 1.4 milyar liralık kayıt dışı hasılat tespit edildi.
Hazine ve Maliye Bakanı Mehmet Şimşek, konuyla ilgili olarak “Kayıt dışı ekonomiyle mücadelemiz sektör sektör genişliyor. Satış bedellerini düşük gösterenlerden gerekli vergi ve cezalar talep edilecek” dedi. Şimşek, yeni denetim yöntemlerinin devreye alınacağını ve kayıt dışılığın neden olduğu haksız rekabeti ve vergi kaybını engellemek için çalışmaların yoğunlaştırılacağını belirtti.
Yat ve Tekne Endüstrisi Derneği (YATED) Başkanı Murat Bekiroğlu, ithal teknelerin Türkiye’ye girişinde vergi kaybı olmayacağını vurgulayarak, yerli üretici ve iç ticarette beyan farkı olabileceğini ifade etti. Bekiroğlu, geçmişte yat, kotra, tekne ve gezinti gemilerinin tesliminde KDV oranının yüzde 1 olarak uygulandığını hatırlattı.
Son olarak, Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı’nın kayıt dışı kazançlarla mücadelesinin devam edeceği ve vergide adaleti artırmak için çalışmalara hız kesmeden devam edileceği belirtildi.
