Ulaştırma ve Altyapı Bakanı Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu (BTK) bünyesinde gerçekleştirilen siber güvenlik faaliyetlerine ilişkin açıklamalarda bulundu. Lübnan’da yaşanan çağrı cihazları ve telsizlerin patlatılması olaylarının ardından, siber tehditlerin tekrar gündeme geldiğini belirten Bakan Uraloğlu, Türkiye’nin siber kalesi Ulusal Siber Olaylara Müdahale Merkezi’nin (USOM) stratejik önemine vurgu yaptı.
Bakan Uraloğlu, 2013 yılında kurulan USOM’un BTK bünyesinde faaliyete geçerek siber güvenlik çalışmalarını hızlandırdığını belirterek, “Haberleşme sistemlerinin ve ulusal siber güvenliğin sağlanması son yıllarda dijital dünyadaki tehditlerle birlikte stratejik önem taşıyor. USOM, bu kapsamda kritik altyapıların güvenliği, kişisel verilerin korunması, ulusal savunma kabiliyetinin artırılması ve dijital ekonominin büyütülmesi gibi çok yönlü çalışmalar yürütüyor” dedi.
BTK’nin siber güvenlik konusundaki çabalarının Türkiye’nin pozisyonunu güçlendirmeyi amaçlayan stratejik bir çerçeveyi temsil ettiğini belirten Bakan Uraloğlu, “USOM bünyesinde 2 bin 300’e yakın Siber Olaylara Müdahale Ekibi (SOME), 7 bin 859 uzman personel ve 400 Ulusal Siber Olaylara Müdahale Merkezi personeli bulunmaktadır. Merkez, anlık olarak 17 milyon IP adresini tarayarak siber güvenlik zafiyetlerine karşı sürekli denetimde bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca her gün 422 büyük saldırıyı engellemekte ve 11 milyon zararlı erişim isteğini önlemektedir” şeklinde konuştu.
Bakan Uraloğlu, USOM’un siber güvenlikte oluşabilecek zafiyetleri önlediğini vurgulayarak, “USOM, siber tehditlerin en hızlı şekilde tespit edilmesi ve engellenmesi için teknolojik tedbirler almayı amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca telefon operatörleriyle iş birliği yaparak siber savunmada güçlü bir şekilde ilerlemekteyiz” dedi.
Siber güvenlik alanında yerli ve milli projeler geliştirdiklerini belirten Uraloğlu, “Avcı, Azad, Kasırga ve Atmaca projeleri ulusal siber güvenliğe önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Bu projeler sayesinde zararlı yazılımların tespiti, botnetlere dahil olan bilgisayarların belirlenmesi ve kritik altyapıların korunması gibi konularda başarılı çalışmalar yapılmaktadır” şeklinde konuştu.
Bakan Uraloğlu, siber güvenlik alanında uzmanların yetiştirilmesi için Fetih Projesi kapsamında uygulamalı siber güvenlik eğitim laboratuvarı oluşturduklarını belirterek, “Bu laboratuvar sayesinde katılımcılar gerçek dünya senaryolarında siber güvenlik testleri yapma imkanı bulmaktadır. Ayrıca siber tehditlere karşı önlemler alınması için çalışmalarımız devam etmektedir” dedi.
